Drilling Methods

We offer a range of multi-functional drilling rigs with a maximum weight capacity from 3 to 15 tonnes. Our rotary open hole drilling can reach a maximum depth of 100 metres and rotary core drilling from 76mm to 100mm. Clients can choose from a range of drilling mediums including water, mist, mud or foam to best suit their project requirements.

We also provide dynamic sampling including SPT’s and CPT’s, rotary percussive drilling and Down the Hole Hammer (DTHH) and Symmetrix systems. Installation and Monitoring

Demolition Geotechnical provides a variety of professional services to assist with site investigations and geotechnical surveying needs. These services include the installation of temporary or permanent casing for monitoring, down hole surveys, and sampling.

Additionally, we offer the installation of stand pipes, piezometers, and divers. Our team can perform in-situ borehole tests, such as hydrological tests (modified falling head, pumping, and single packer tests) and discrete water sampling. We also offer trial pits and trenches, sampling, logging (to BS9530:2015+A1:2020), and testing.

Our experts have ample experience investigating contaminated sites, and we can provide geotechnical correlated borehole logs upon request. We specialize in gas monitoring using GFM426-1 and also offer groundwater monitoring. GBLE maintains well-established connections with specialist geotechnical service providers and can provide a range of specific survey and testing techniques.

Pre-site checks and factual reporting procedures.

We offer Pre-site work walkover assessments with a wealth of extensive historic geological archive data available for your convenience. We also produce AGS borehole Data (HoleBase) and can schedule samples for analysis. Should you require Engineering borehole logs, we are happy to provide those on request.
